Primal Awakening explores the transformation of emotional states through sound, reflecting a period of internal restoration for Istvan Roux.
Built on low-frequency weight and minimal structures, each track unfolds as an independent system, moving between tension and release, where confusion becomes awareness and nostalgia becomes hope.
Fragments of reality and field recordings are used as abstract triggers, translating lived experience into texture.
While deeply personal, the album resonates beyond the individual, revealing patterns of transformation that can emerge in others.
